My Barossa Day
Our idea of a perfect Barossa day…
One of the best ways to start the day is a hot yoga class at True North Yoga to get the blood pumping.
Then stop by Vino Lokal in Tanunda to grab delicious breakfast and a coffee. Wander the main street’s many boutique shops and galleries before heading to David Franz Cellardoor for a pre lunch wine tasting.
On our way to lunch, we will stop in to Maggie Beers to look at some excellent local produce and look at the many exotic birds in the pheasant farm. Then off to Home of the Brave for lunch. Home of the Brave is the home for First Drop Wines and their Mediterranean inspired menu – think grilled Haloumi with lemon and oregano – is the perfect way to enjoy a great lunch and still be able to go out for dinner later!
After lunch relax at your luxurious vineyard accommodation and watch the sun set over the Barossa Ranges.
Now that the sun has set head in to Angaston to Otherness for a relaxing glass and delicious wine bar style dinner. Chat with owner Grant, arguably the most knowledgeable person on wine in the valley, and enjoy many a tasty morsel by chef Sam Smith.
